Academics

As all members of Sigma Phi Epsilon are undergraduates at Wichita State University, academics are an important part of our every day activities. Academics are a topic that we take much pride in and constantly try to do better. We have consistently raised our cumulative GPA over the past few years and received the highest GPA among fraternities on campus during the 2006-2007 school year.

We do a great deal here at SigEp in order to ensure that no member falls behind while at the same time furthering the knowledge of those who are succeeding. We provide an opportunity for members to use the facilities of the house on a daily basis including: computer, printer, books and even older members. We realize the beauty and obvious benefit of having older members around to help younger members with subjects they have already gone through.
Finally, we are in the process of turning the SigEp house into a Residential Learning Community (RLC). This is an idea that was accepted by our national headquarters as a way to combine academics and the house you live in. With this RLC comes many benefits: personalized study areas, additional resources, and a faculty fellow that lives within the house. This will give students an opportunity to thrive both socially and intellectually while attending college.
